Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure location is level, dry, and near required utilities.

  1. Washer Installation: Connect cold and hot water inlet hoses to corresponding faucets. Ensure drain hose is properly secured in standpipe or sink.
  2. Dryer Installation: For electric models, plug into dedicated 240V outlet. For gas models, connect gas line with approved flexible connector and check for leaks with soap solution.
  3. Leveling: Adjust leveling feet to ensure appliance is stable and does not rock.
  4. Venting (Dryer): Connect exhaust vent to outdoor vent hood using rigid or flexible metal ducting.

WARNING! Heavy appliances require two people for moving. Do not install in areas with freezing temperatures. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free.

First-Time Setup

Power on appliances; follow initial setup prompts on display.

  1. Run Initial Washer Cycle: Select "Clean Washer" or "Tub Clean" cycle with hot water and a washing machine cleaner (no laundry).
  2. Calibrate Dryer: Run an empty cycle on high heat for 20 minutes to burn off manufacturing residues.

Connecting to Utilities

  2. Use only new hoses and connectors; do not reuse old ones.
  3. Ensure dryer vent is straight and short as possible (max 25 feet with 90° elbows).
  4. Check for leaks after connections are made.

Tip: Install a drip pan under washer if on second floor. Clean lint filter before every dryer load.

Operating Washer & Dryer

Supports various fabrics and load sizes.

  1. Sort laundry by color, fabric type, and soil level.
  2. Load washer: Do not overload; leave space at top for movement.
  3. Add detergent: Use HE detergent only; follow manufacturer's dosage instructions.
  4. Select cycle: Turn knob to desired cycle; adjust options as needed.
  5. Start: Press START/PAUSE.
  6. Transfer to dryer: Clean lint filter, load dryer, select appropriate cycle.
  7. Clean lint filter after every dryer cycle.
  8. Unload promptly to reduce wrinkles.

WARNING! Do not wash or dry items soaked in flammable substances. Do not exceed maximum load capacity.
